Description
Wow! This is the fastest TR6 I've ever driven!
This gorgeous black 1972 TR6 benefits from a body off restoration which included several upgrades. The most notable upgrade is a dual throttle body fuel injection system and coil pack ignition. It also included a sportier tune on the suspension and modifications to the rear end arrangement.
Several years ago the car was stripped to bare metal and underwent a body off restoration to a high driver standard. The paint is still extremely nice, the interior is excellent, the soft top is excellent and as mentioned before it runs very well. The warmed up TR6 engine backed up by its sport exhaust and robust factory 4 speed with electric overdrive provides brisk acceleration, excellent torque delivery, good highway cruising and the great throaty roar of a straight six.
If you're looking for a strong performing English sports car that can perform well in current real-world driving situations and still have all the snort and charm that makes them so enjoyable this is your car. Much stronger than an MGB or even a Big Six Healy and only a fraction of the cost of a Jag.
