Description
This is an extremely straight and clean 1998 Pontiac Trans Am with the WS6 option. This gives you more horsepower from its LS V8, RAM AIR hood, larger brakes and a sport tuned suspension. The 1998 models had several improvements over earlier WS6 cars.
The body is excellent, the interior is extremely nice, the leather is very nice, there are no cracks in the dash, cold air conditioning, very nice paint from a recent repaint, no signs of previous damage. Very, very clean underneath.
Everything about this car tells you it has always been well cared for and kept out of the weather.
Previous owner replaced the heads with new LS3 units, upgraded the cam and replaced the timing chains. The bottom end is believed to be original. She's very fast. The engine runs beautifully and the transmission shifts well. The brakes are strong and linear. The steering and suspension are excellent. She recently received a cat back free flow exhaust system. The catalytic converter is still intact as is the oxygen sensor. After the new exhaust was installed the "service engine" light came on.
It's hard to believe this is already an antique car, but that does make it cheaper to insure! Be sure to view all the pictures to fully appreciate this car.
