Description
1969 M151 MUTT Ford built by Kaiser Jeep. Similar in appearance to the World War II era Jeep but a completely different vehicle with more power, better shifting transmission and a much better ride.
Very cool original military command M151 purchased from a Vietnam Marine Corps artillery veteran. Includes original, functioning military radio and dual antennas for the command role. Has correct gasoline powered auxiliary heater and water fording exhaust.
Body and frame are rock solid and the frame has not been cut. She has lots of character including several little dents as you can see in the pictures. Soft top and weather gear and very good condition. Has rear seat, rollover bar, and body mounted spare tire.
Runs and drives extremely well. Transmission shifts well and instruments work. Tires are excellent. Seems to be up to military spec including waterproof distributor. Additionally has a modern radio / CD and weather resistant speakers. Included , but not installed, front bumper mounted winch in good condition.
We love old military vehicles but we are not experts.
