The RWS R8 is the most driver-focused R8 available. The Rear Wheel Series cars are rear wheel drive as opposed to all wheel drive in the standard R8. These cars are lighter and have a more sport oriented suspension. Power comes from the same 5.2 liter V10 engine found in the Lamborghini Huracan. Imagine having the pure excitement and sound of an Italian exotic with the reliability and serviceability of a German luxury car. Only 999 RWS were built for the worldwide market, and only a little over 300 came to the United States. This makes it more rare than the Lamborghini!
It is one of the few modern cars ever featured on the show Jay Leno's Garage. That should give an indication as to how special these are.
She is finished in Ibis White with the Express Red leather interior and the factory RWS Missano Red graphics package.
Her pristine paint is protected by Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra ceramic paint coating and a nearly imperceptible Suntek PPF clear wrap.
While her looks and V10 drivetrain may be pure exotica she is not a stripped down track car. She is fully loaded!

This R8 is a very driver-focused vehicle, AND it is also a very easy to live with and street friendly car. The S Tronic DCT transmission features both manual shift modes and fully automatic driving style. This means you can drive it like an automatic when you want and like a manual when you want. Unlike cars equipped with an automatic transmission with a manual shift mode the Audi R8 RWS has a very obedient manual shift system which makes gear changes faster than you ever could with a clutch pedal. It sounds like a Formula 1 car!
In summary if you want an R8 get an R8 RWS. If you're going to buy an RWS buy this one. It is the closest thing you can have to a new one.
